Sift by SCND, is an online thrift store for luxury and vintage wear. My inspiration was sparked by years of thrifting and sifting through racks in hopes of finding something special just for me. Through donations, and second hand charity, hopefully we all can find a way, to make the world's material treasures as sustainable and fashionable as possible!
My first major sale was a vintage Louis Vuitton recital purse. This was a favourite of mine, as this piece was meant for ballerina's to hold their pointes. How fabulous!
I was able to triple the profits made on the purse, and was able to gift the same bag to my mother for her birthday.
I was instantly hooked! After I was done raiding my mother closet for hand-me downs, I began purchasing items of my own for my store.
Some items I would keep for my personal collection, however, most pieces I would refurbish to sell to my customers.
The thrill of sifting through hundreds of clothes on racks in stores, or through search engines online, you never know what you're going to find!
Our featured designer of the month is BASQUIAT. This year, Coach has created a Basquiat collab of some of the late artist's greatest works.
